Red Oak and Malcolm Pirnie staff will join water and wastewater utility managers at the 2010 Utility Management Conference in San Francisco February 21-24, 2010.  In addition to hosting its annual Networking Breakfasts which provide an informal and small-group venue conducive to good discussion and shared ideas, Red Oak consultants are featured in many sessions on the conference's agenda.

The breakfast session topics include a case study of a relationship-based operational efficiency initiative by the Montgomery County Water Services Department (OH) led by the Department's Deputy Director Steven Schulze and a roundtable discussion of utility manager concerns and innovative solutions facilitated by Red Oak’s Managing Director, Steve Hayashi.

Red Oak and Pirnie staff continue to contribute significantly to the conference program, presenting or moderating in over 10 sessions over the course of the event. Presentation topics range from financial planning and asset management to organizational optimization. The agenda also includes a session dedicated to the findings from Red Oak Views from the Lunchroom workshop series, featuring leading utility managers from around the country.
